The Bay of Karnus is where the great arch-mage Karnus' ship landed more than 2000 years ago. The small encampment from which scouts explored the region eventually was founded as the town of Maersk. It is now dotted with dozens of small fishing villages. Maersk is a major ship building center and the Bay of Karnus is home to many fine fishing boats and ships.
